  I have created automated self-extracting versions of the popular HijackThis scanner to make the installation process much easier. The self-extracting .exe files create appropriate shortcuts. I have also included the online HijackThis tutorial (as a Word document) and the small batch file I created that changes the default extension of the scan log from .log to .txt allowing the user to easily attach it to online forum to get help. The compressed (zip) files also contains the Readme.doc file which gives more detailed info. I urge you to view it before running the executable.

Renamer is a tiny batch file I recently came up with that quickly and easily changes the extension of HijackThis log file from .log to .txt making it possible to attach it to posts online! This executables are for users who had downloaded the previously created self-extracting versions from PhilliPhan's sticky.
Renamer98 is for Windows 98/ME users and RenamerXP is for Windows 2000/XP users.
