Welcome to Personal Computing 101

Updated: 04/19/2005

What was the reason behind creating this site?

The main reason was to provide some help to people about some of the Windows features, functions and also give tips on a few popular Windows based applications.
I realized I could share whatever information I have with those who might benefit from it.
I always enjoy helping others with computer related issues and if as a visitor if you find anything useful on this small and amateur site of mine then I am happy.

What will be covered on this site?

Mainly Windows based applications, nothing over the top. I am still trying to decide what exactly I am going to cover on this limited web space. I already have some materials and presentations that I had created either at home for friends or at work, so I will use those for now. These presentations are going to be screenshots of either a program I'll talk abut here or visual guides to help you accomplish certain tasks in Windows.
I will not be covering any specific system or application problems, if you have such an issue, please visit one of the great online tech forums such as I Am Not A Geek Forums or MajorGeeks Support Forums. After a simple registeration process you will be on your way to finding answers to your problems!
Feel free to check out the screenshots of the applications I have available on my download page to get a better feel of them.
I don't believe my English composition skills are that good, so excuse my mistakes! As long as you're happy with your visit and learn a thing or two...

A little About Me

I've moved from Texas to Orange County, California back in 1992 and I have been living here since then.
I have been working in the computer field since the early months of 1999. I took Networking and PC Hardware repair classes and graduated from CEI in 1999. I have MCSE, CNA, A+ and Network+ certification but I consider my hands-on, real life experiences to be more valuable.

If you have any comments or questions, feel free to send me an e-mail  (e-mail address is on this slide).

Thanks!
